“Lucky You” Journal

You’ll need –

  • paper (a journal or notebook is best)
  • pen
  • positive thoughts

After reading "Emmaline’s Much, Much Too Big Wings" with your child reflect on some of the qualities that make people special and unique. Then, help your child think of at least 1 thing they are happy or proud of today and 1 thing that they appreciate about another person in their life.

You can make this a positive habit by writing these simple moments of appreciation in a journal each night. Within just a few days the journal will be full of positive reminders of all the good in your child's life.

What a lucky kid for having so many great qualities and wonderful people around! And "Lucky You!" for raising such a positive little one!
